Table Cricket

Pupils from mixed year groups attended Derbyshire County Cricket ground to take part in a table cricket tournament. It was much enjoyed by all and we finished joint 1st.

Pupils had to use a table tennis type bat and his squash ball style balls with a mini cricket bat. you could score runs by hitting certain areas of the table. Pupils also defended using plastic plates to shield the score lines and learnt how to bowl using a small ramp. highlight of the day was a tour around the stadium after lunch. Pupils are excited to return to the event next year and represent SSSC. Well done all involved!
