RE Trip

Pupils from Year 11 visited the Open Centre in Derby as part of their Religious Education qualification and took part in a faith trail. They had the opportunity to go inside a Mosque, Hindu temple and Sikh Gurdwara and met representatives from each of the 3 religious faiths who spoke about key traditions, beliefs and items that were important to them and their religion. The pupils represented  SSSC brilliantly and even had the chance to taste some sweet and savoury food within the Hindu temple and Sikh Gurdwara.
